There were many smiling faces on Saturday October 14th as Bikes n Brews-Ride for a Cause 2023 hit the streets of Medford and the roads of Jackson County!!!  Again, produced in association with Travel Medford’s “Heart of the Rogue” Festival, Bikes n Brews-Ride for a Cause drew over 130 participants in the five distances.

The Root Beer Cruiser Family Ride had 28 participants, (see the photo of the start above) who were some of the first cyclists to ride the newly repaved and restriped Main Steet. All the riders had a good time, and there were no breakdowns or injuries to riders reported.

Our non-profit organization partners did a great job staffing the rest stops. A big thank you to The Family Nurturing Center, Compass House, Family Solutions, and Familia Unida Bike Builders, who led the Family Ride and had a display of their bike building skills on display.

Funds raised through Bikes n Brews will be distributed to the benefiting parties by the end of November.

Watch for Bikes n Brews Ride for a Cause coming up in October 2024 in Association with the Heart of the Rogue Festival.

Rob Hambleton of BBSI presents a check to The Recovery Cafe for their donation from the Bikes n Brews “Ride for a Cause” promotion. BBSI raised an additional $200 by getting pledges from fellow workers, family, and friends to ride in Bikes n Brews.
