Kin Thai is a Thai restaurant on 8th and Holly. They serve a variety of Thai dishes and are best known for their curries and noodles. The curries are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and are cooked to perfection. The noodles are also fresh and made to order. They usually have a special roasted chicken dish with papaya salad and rice, which is a wholesome meal choice.

We ordered a Pad Thai and a Chicken Biryani. Pad Thai is a stir-fried noodle dish with chicken, peanuts, and a sweet and savory sauce. Chicken Biryani is a rice dish cooked with chicken, spices, and vegetables – think chicken fried rice, but with Thai flavors and big pieces of chicken. There was plenty to eat and a little leftover to bring home.

The people at the table near us had ordered curry and were enjoying it. Kin Thai has three kinds to choose from- the Green Curry, Massaman Curry, and Panang Curry. The Green Curry is made with green chiles, coconut milk, and Thai basil. It is a flavorful and spicy curry that is perfect for those who like a kick to their food. The Massaman Curry is a milder curry made with coconut milk, peanuts, and potatoes. It is a rich and creamy curry that is good for those who like a more flavorful curry. The Panang Curry is a red curry made with coconut milk, peanuts, and red chiles. It is a flavorful and slightly spicy curry and for those who want more heat.

Kin Thai also offers a variety of noodle dishes, including Pad See Ew, and Khao Soi. Pad See Ew is a stir-fried noodle dish made with chicken, broccoli, and a savory sauce. Khao Soi is a northern Thai curry noodle dish made with coconut milk, egg noodles, chicken, and crispy wontons.

Tantalize your tongue with the Tofu Salad, or the Mushroom and Chicken Larb Salads…but don’t forget to add some summer rolls, Shumai, or spicy corn salad to your meal.  Smoothies and Thai coffee are available too.

No matter what you order at Kin Thai, you are sure to have a delicious and fresh Thai meal.
