The recipient of the August 2023 Recognition Award is Linda Carter, owner of Rogue Valley Living Magazine.
As a member of the DMA’s Organization Committee, Linda volunteered to “Hit the Streets” for the DMA’s “Friends and Partners” project. She was assigned to an area of our downtown to reach out to businesses and business owners about this easy opportunity to get involved with and help support the Downtown Medford Association’s effort for revitalization.
Linda took this on even though she was dealing with an injury. Linda took her commitment so seriously that she went out even with an injured foot. Then when it got too inflamed she successfully recruited Doug Bradley, with Best Western Inns, to go out for her. Doug’s efforts brought in at least one new DMA Partner!!!
