Cooper move to Medford in late October 2022, and was asked to join the DMA Board in March.
Cooper’s experience with downtown organizations includes helping get The Dalles (OR) Main Street Program off the ground, serving on the inaugural Board of Directors of the Downtown Dickinson (ND) Association, and working with the Downtown Corvallis (OR) Association. He also advised multiple rural Oregon cities in their downtown efforts while serving as an Economic Development Specialist in Marion County and has served on many local and statewide boards and committees. He has been active in the Chamber of Commerce in many locations, as well.
“Every community wants a livable present and sustainable future,” Cooper said. “I enjoy supporting local leadership in the communities I serve as they continue to define what economic development looks like for their town. Every town has a different feel, but electricity is always an essential piece supporting community growth and stability. I am committed to better understanding these communities’ needs, desires, and concerns so that we can become stronger together.”
Welcome to the DMA Board, Cooper.
