Prism, the Rogue Valley’s first dedicated LGBTQ+ bar held their Grand Opening on March 20 and 21 in their newly renovated space at 123 South Front Street, adjacent to Oh’s Osaka.
The venue includes a stage, dance floor, bar, and kitchen. Renovations included painting, removing old carpeting, refinishing floors, and installing new lighting, sound equipment, and décor to create a nightclub atmosphere.
Prism will offer a diverse range of themed nights, including bingo, trivia, karaoke, drag shows, and dance parties. With a focus on creating a safe and inclusive space, Prism will regularly update its schedule and activities based on community demand.

Prism is owned by TQC LLC, a group that includes about 20 members. Co-Owner Daniel Tharp is manager of Prism. “We needed somewhere where people didn’t just feel welcomed but truly felt like it was their space — a safe, joyful place for the LGBTQ community right here in Medford,” said Tharp when interviewed by NBC5 News.
