Downtown Medford Association is proud to recognize Sunny Spicer, Executive Director of The Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon, for July 2023

As you may have been observing, The Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon has been making some significant changes over the past several years since moving to the “Carnegie Library” building at 413 W Main Street.

As you drive by, you will feast your eyes on the elaborate outdoor play areas that have recently been constructed. And – don’t just drive by, go inside and take a look at the more than 10 fabulous exhibits that give children of all ages the opportunity to explore and enjoy.

Then check out the Culinary Studio and the Clay Studio in The Annex, across the street in the former Medford Hotel, where great creations are being made.

The Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon is part of the Oregon Center for Creative Learning (OCCL), which also includes The Ivy School, an award-winning preschool; and Roots Community Education, which includes a drop-in preschool program for adults to attend with their children, community-based partnership programs, and referrals to other community services for families in need of support.

Congratulations, Sunny and the Children’s Museum for the great things you are doing for our children and our community.
