What’s new on the corner of Main and Bartlett? The Other Easy is now open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 4:30 – 8pm, serving southern inspired food and fresh juice cocktails. The menu changes regularly. Some of the items offered on a recent weekend included Bacon & Corn Fritters, Lump Crab Mac & Cheese, and a Wedge Salad with bleu cheese. Delicious desserts, such as Chocolate Pecan Pie and Bananas Foster were also on the menu that weekend. Food is prepared in the kitchen at Over Easy, by staff under the direction of owner Braden Hitt.
For the fresh juice cocktails, all the fruit – pineapples, cherries, mangos, strawberries, watermelon – whatever is in season- is juiced in house. All drinks can be made as fun mocktails, as The Other Easy wants be a family friendly place. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
In the morning, the space is a small bites coffee bar open Wednesday – Sunday from 8am – 1:30 pm. “We use Cerberus coffee, which is fantastic and locally roasted. Igoe Bagels, also locally made, are delivered weekly. The Other Easy has more grab and go options: bagel sandwiches, breakfast boards, quiche, etc. If you’re not wanting a heavy breakfast, lighter fare is available on this side. It’s also a great waiting area if Over Easy is full for brunch. You can get a little snack or have a coffee or a mimosa while you wait for a table,” said Stephanie Hitt.
