Shishi opened in early July in the former home of several restaurants like Shiki and Mexicali Rose at 17
West 4th Street (4th & Fir). ShiShi Wang and John Gan are the owners. John is the chef.
A Grand Opening Party is scheduled for Friday, August 8, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm with music by the Tension
Deficit Band.
They serve all the usual Chinese dishes like MarFar Chicken, Chow Mein, Chow Yuk, and Kung Pao. They
also have family combinations for two to five people.
The American menu features sandwiches and burgers, fish and chips, grilled breaded fish, and salads.
Shishi has a nice dining room and a friendly bar that serves beer, wine, cocktails, and soft drinks.
