Drew Arvidson proposed to his wife Steph on their favorite beach while they were living in Australia. The name of the beach is Floreat Beach.

They also shared dreams of having a coffee business on Floreat Beach – thus the name of Downtown Medford’s newest coffee spot – Floreat Coffee.

Drew and Steph moved back to the States four years ago. Steph is from Medford and is a graduate of Cascade Christian High School. They started their coffee business last year, doing private coffee catering at offices, and for corporate functions, weddings, and other events. They still do coffee catering, but now also have a brick-and-mortar location.

Drew was walking with their children in downtown, and the available space at 201 West Main caught his eye. On July 1, they opened Floreat Coffee there, moving their coffee cart inside. They have plans to add more seating to the inside and outside areas of this warm and friendly spot.

“We live within walking distance and love the downtown feel where people just pop in. Downtown Medford is really cool, and innovative businesses will help it continue to grow,” said Drew.

“We stand behind a great product and serve a great product, but we also believe that without human interaction and care, it means nothing,” added Drew.

Stop by and enjoy a great coffee drink and some welcoming conversation.
