Exciting News! A gorgeous shop where you can find locally made, all-natural artisan soaps, bath luxuries, skincare wonders, heavenly candles, and exquisite body care products has just opened in Downtown Medford. Em’z Blendz has moved their flagship shop from Ashland, where they were located for 20 years next to Standing Stone, to 24 N Bartlett.
The building they occupied in Ashland was sold and fortunately for Downtown Medford they found the Bartlett Street location. However, a space at 77 Oak Street just down the street from their former location became available, so Em’z Blendz will still be able to maintain a small presence in Ashland.
The Downtown Medford spot “seemed perfect because it is in the historic part of Medford on a cute little street across from Over Easy (what we think is the best brunch place in town). I love being next to the parking garage for parking and shopping,” said Emily Whitlock, who with her husband Andy, owns Em’z Blendz.
Everything they sell is handcrafted from scratch by Emily and Andy in their kitchen/factory in Medford, which they lovingly call “The Ol’ Factory.” They also work on projects like packaging and shipping for online orders in the shop. (As you can see, they believe in very minimal packaging – no plastic that you have to get your scissors to cut into.)
Emily and Andy, along with Andy’s sister Katie Moxley of the Brow Parlour at the same location, invite you to their Grand Opening “Bubbles & Brows,” on December 15th Third Friday from 5-8pm. Of course, they’re serving champagne (and beer).
