“Hike scenic trails, raft the famous Rogue River, or tee off at top-notch golf courses. Savor the region’s award-winning wines at local vineyards, experience live music and theater, or explore Oregon’s only national park, Crater Lake. With so many exciting things to discover, let Medford be the launchpad for sampling everything the Rogue Valley has to offer.” The opening page of Travel Medford’s 2025 Visitor Guide is mighty enticing!!!

Travel Medford is the largest Destination Marketing Organization in Southern Oregon and promotes Medford and the Rogue Valley as a premier West Coast destination. Its mission is to increase lodging occupancy, enhance the overall visitor experience, and educate locals and tourists alike on regional amenities to further economic impact for the community.
Travel Medford was started in 1975 and is a department under the Chamber umbrella. Travel Medford is primarily funded through a city transient lodging tax. It uses the funding for marketing the area and all it has to offer to people mainly from 50+ miles away. Marketing is done through TV and radio, social media, digital ads, search engine marketing, email, their website, an online newsletter, and print materials such as the Visitor Guide, using data tracking software to help with ad targeting strategy. “We get to promote what is great about our area and community and tell all these great fun stories and be the champion of our community’s success,” said T.J. Holmes, Travel Medford Senior Vice President.
