BBSI provides payroll administration, a workers’ compensation program, health benefits, staffing and recruiting, and a variety of HR and business consulting services to small and medium businesses. BBSI is one of the largest Professional Employer Organizations (PEO) in the US and a leading provider of business management solutions nationwide.

In Southern Oregon, BBSI serves around 215 clients that collectively have about 3000 employees. Just a few of their local clients are Rogue Retreat, Reclaiming Lives, The Children’s Museum of Southern Oregon, DMA, Bob Thomas Automotive, Southern Oregon Heating and Air Conditioning, and The Dove.

Rob Hambleton, BBSI Senior Business Partner, explained how BBSI gets involved in community organizations like DMA:

“We are heavily embedded and invested in the community where we are located. Most of our employees are or have been business owners. We are really conscious of how we spend our money locally to support jobs and businesses. When we spend money locally, it cycles. We serve our communities, spending $50 – 100,000 on local sponsorships. Our employees spend dozens of hours each, volunteering in our community from serving on boards to bell ringing for Christmas cheer.”

Rob volunteered for Ride for a Cause. That’s how he got to know DMA. He is currently serving on the DMA Board of Directors, helping us make Downtown Medford more vibrant.

“I love the vision for what people want downtown to be. The Holly Theatre renovation is amazing. I think the Creekside Quarter is absolutely wonderful. People have to just keep trying things and don’t give up,” concluded Rob.
