If you’re looking for a spot that perfectly blends great food with a welcoming, community feel, The Copper Plank really hits the mark. The fact that it’s located in the historic Elks Lodge adds a wonderful layer of nostalgia to the whole experience that you just don’t find everywhere. From the second you walk in, you’re greeted with a warmth that makes you feel right at home. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, which makes the visit feel relaxed and genuine.
The menu is wonderfully varied, so there’s something for everyone whether you want something light or a bit more indulgent. Our personal favorite is the build-your-own pizza by the slice. It’s a fun way to get exactly what you’re craving, and because they use fresh ingredients and bold flavors, the end result is always delicious.

I also have to give a special shout-out to the salads. They’re surprisingly fresh, packed with flavor, and the portions are generous. They are definitely big enough to be a meal on their own. You can tell the kitchen really cares about every dish they send out.
The atmosphere is another huge plus. If you want to kick back, the fireside room is cozy and perfect for relaxing with friends. At the same time, the rest of the space has a lively, upbeat energy that keeps things fun. What really sets this place apart is the playful vibe. There is always something going on, like darts, live music, bingo, or trivia nights, which gives it a great sense of connection.
If you’re into beer or cider, their selection is outstanding. They have a wide range of options to suit pretty much any preference, so there is always something new to try.
At the end of the day, The Copper Plank is more than just a restaurant; it’s a true local destination. Between the delicious food, the unique history of the building, and the welcoming spirit, it’s easy to see why people keep coming back. It’s definitely a place you’ll want to visit again and again.
