DJ Graham, MPD Deputy Chief of Operations, shared this update with us:

Lt. Rebecca Pietila has taken the Community Engagement Lieutenant position.  She is now the Community Engagement Bureau Commander, and the Livability Team is in her division.  Lt. Geoff Kirkpatrick held that position and she is replacing him.  He is moving to the Administrative Lieutenant position.   

 Officer Patrick Read is still working in the Downtown Officer position.  We will be posting for the new positions in downtown and on the Livability Team on July 5th.  We will start filling those positions during the summer, with the hopes of having them all filled by August/September. 

As always, be sure to call Patrick or MPD if you have an incident that needs their attention. MPD is our Partner in working to keep Downtown safe and clean.
