It’s happening Saturday, October 11th!

Last year’s event raised about $7,500 for DMA and another $7,500 that was split between other non- profit organizations serving our community. Those nonprofits are Family Solutions, Compass House, ROC Recovery Center, Family Nurturing Center, and Recovery Café. They staff the ride rest stops for a percentage of the net proceeds.
Ride for a Cause also gives exposure to DMA and Downtown Medford through its extensive marketing program that includes posters, radio, TV, and newspaper advertising, and also through an aggressive social media campaign. AND it promotes cycling, which is a healthy family fun activity.
How can YOU get involved?
- Register to ride one the five ride distances and bring a friend, family member, or co-worker along to make it a “shared experience.”
Register:
- Put together a team and “Ride for YOUR Cause.” Gather funds from family, friends, co-workers, etc. to raise funds for a cause that is meaningful to you.
Fundraising:
Volunteering:
- Volunteer to help staff the event. There are many options available such as staffing one of the rest stops, helping with rider on-course support, helping with pre-registration and post-ride events.
- Just come and enjoy the fun. There will be fun support activities in Pear Blossom Park from 9 am – 3 pm, with family fun activities, music, socializing, etc. For the riders and runners in the Rogue Marathon, which is also happening on October 11, there will be a “recovery zone” for them to relax, get a beverage and something to eat, and reflect on their experience with other participants at the finish line.
