We are delighted to present the Community Recognition Award for January to Melissa Shreeve.
As a Medicare consultant, Melissa represents the professional services section of the DMA. Often, we are focused on retail and restaurants downtown, but professional services are an important contributor to the downtown scene.
Melissa recently shared with us that she scheduled over 400 appointments from October through early December 2025. Her customers often grab lunch or dinner downtown before or after their consultation. Just like the library, law offices, insurance agents, and other service providers bring foot traffic downtown.
Melissa works tirelessly to uplift downtown businesses. She is a regular contributor to the Organization Committee and is spearheading the committee’s partner’s engagement project. She regularly sponsors cleanup projects and volunteers for DMA events. She also graces the downtown fashion scene with her best-in-show deployment of leopard print. Thank you, Melissa, for all that you do for Downtown Medford.
