City Council Approves $125K in Support for DMA’s Downtown Initiatives
On September 19th, the Medford City Council unanimously approved a $125,000 allocation from the Council’s Community Initiative Fund to support DMA. After a thorough review of several organizations and projects, DMA was selected for its focus on enhancing vibrancy and economic development.
This partnership extends beyond financial support, combining both fiscal and policy efforts to drive progress. DMA has committed to a 12-month period with specific deliverables aimed at advancing the Economic Improvement District, increasing community participation in events, and achieving elevated financial targets.
We are grateful for the continued collaboration with City staff and elected officials and are excited to build on this relationship that has already contributed so much to our downtown community’s growth and vitality.
