Bikes n Brews 2023 features five different distances from the Root Beer Cruiser Family Ride of approximately 3.5 miles, on downtown Medford streets to Fichtner-Mainwaring Park and back, to the Metric Century 67-mile Stout Ride that goes to Gold Hill, around the Table Rocks, and returns to Downtown Medford. For the mid-range rider there’s the Pilsner Ride of 20 mile, with a rest stop at the little-known historic Willow Springs School House; the 30-mile Amber Ride, featuring fabulous views from Old Military Road; and the I.P.A. Ride of approximately 46 miles, which also goes to Gold Hill and between the Table Rocks.
Bikes n Brews will start and end in the Coldwell Banker Pro West parking lot at Main and Bartlett in downtown with music, food, bike corral, and a beer garden after the rides – and it’s all part of Travel Medford’s “Heart of the Rogue Festival” – Friday, October 13th and Saturday, October 14th.
Ride For A Cause
Along with providing much needed funding for DMA’s continuing efforts to revitalize Downtown Medford, Bikes n Brews shares a portion of the funds with local community non-profit partners for staffing the ride rest stops. Organizations receiving funding are the Family Nurturing Center, Compass House, ROC Recovery Center, Familia Unida, and Family Solutions.
There’s a Bikes n Brews ride distance that’s just right for you – hope you can join in the family fun – registration opens soon!
