Rogue Week Brings AI Savvy for Productivity Downtown in May

I find myself writing and reading the phrase “stay tuned” often. When it comes to an exciting event coming to Downtown Medford the last week in May, however, staying tuned and learning of the details of this upcoming event has been more than a task in a world of constant catching up. In fact, it’s been a highlight of the last several weeks for me. The best way to stay updated on the Rogue Week awesomeness is the event website, www.rogueweek.org

Rogue Week 2025 is a collaborative effort between the event catalysts, Oatmeal Farm Network, and the Rogue Week organizing team, and partners such as Travel Medford, the Southern Oregon Innovation Hub, Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development, Inc, and businesses such as Blum Commercial Properties, Coquette Bakery, and Compass by Margaritaville. The list is growing by the day.

The AI for Good Conference will take place on May 29th and 30th, bringing a combination of informational and demo sessions for business and community leaders across all industries to get us to think about leaning into the power and possibilities of Artificial Intelligence to boost productivity, organizational efficiency and growth, and creativity. The event will be held at One West Main downtown, and as I write this, I realize that I have not attended an event in that space since 2018. I really look forward to that space being abuzz with conversations, ideas, and conversational energy that recharges and results in new connections.
On Wednesday the 28th at 9:30 am the week kicks off at the [typically weekly at the Hivve in Grants Pass] 1 Million Cups, a signature Kauffman Foundation event that is also supported by the Southern Oregon Innovation Hub. For a full list of the upcoming events, check out the 1 MC Grants Pass calendar. This pitch, ask, and networking event goes for about an hour with post-program lingering encouraged. I cannot think of a better kick-start for our entrepreneurial brains on the day before the two days filled with presentations, keynotes, and breakout sessions of the AI for Good Conference.
Local flavors from Rolling Smoke BBQ, The Melt, PNW Toasted Cheese, Cruisers Ice Cream and Vintage Vibes Beverages will be featured both conference days during lunch time at Artistic Piano and the Collier Creative Center with live entertainment from Elbow Room Taiko Drummers.
Early bird conference registration – save 10% until Friday, May 9th!
