“I love the community feel that Downtown has. I wanted more exposure for my shop. I love the charm and vibe of Downtown Medford!” These were all reasons Kaitlyn Kinney gave for moving her shop to Downtown.
Walk by 220 East Main and check out the windows! You will just have to go in and see what a great place Refashion is to shop for gently worn current, fashionable, and higher-end brand clothing, footwear, and accessories.
Refashion is also a great place to turn some of those things you are not wearing into cash. Just bring in up to 20 items on Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday at 11am, and Kaitlyn and her staff will consign them for you if they are “on trend, seasonal, and ‘will sell.’” Refashion takes 60% of the sales price, and you get 40% of the sales price when your items sell.
Kaitlyn opened Refashion on Stevens Street a little over a year ago. She previously worked in the fashion industry with a home boutique. Kaitlyn and her husband Ben, who works in real estate, are Medford natives and parents of young children.
When asked what she would like to see happening in Downtown, Kaitlyn replied, “More retail shops and more events to make Downtown really vibrant.”
