Born of a desire to find an afternoon girlfriends retreat with a cozy urban atmosphere, The Beatrice is the brainchild of two best friends with a passion for good food and affordable wine.
Located in a convenient downtown setting they set out to create an experience that offered all the best of what they wanted in a restaurant. The menu can best be described as eclectic with a delicious sampling of cuisines from all over the world. The focus is on scratch made whole foods making everything in house, from the broths to the breads. And as they truly believe ingredients matter The Beatrice strives to offer seed oil free cooking with a focus on local and organic whenever possible.
The casual counter service dining style allows prices to stay affordable so you, the guest, can enjoy premium food and wines without breaking the bank.
Owner/Operator, Hilary Cano is passionate about our regional culture and cuisine. A 2005 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America- Hyde Park, Ms. Cano returned home to the Rogue Valley where she strives to bring a love of food and cooking to all she does. Ms. Cano spent ten years as the General Manager of The Schoolhaus Brewhaus in Jacksonville overseeing the properties restaurant, event center and many other offered amenities.
Creative Director, Ragan Atkinson brings her love for all things gastronomic to the table. Never scared to explore new flavors and cuisines, Ragan keeps us honest. Never pretension, with her thumb always on the pulse our “Soup Diva” truly elevates the dining experience for all that are lucky enough to dine at her table. A manager at Red Lily for almost a decade, she’s passionate about great wines and supporting our farms from around the Valley.
