Zen + Tonic: Raising the Bar for Yoga in Downtown Medford

Step into The Sparta Building at Main and Riverside, head upstairs to Suite 206, and you’ll find Zen + Tonic, a sunlit yoga school with tall windows overlooking Downtown Medford. The space feels both elevated and grounded, designed to invite movement, breath, and community.

The studio is the vision of founder Lindsey Holy, who has been teaching yoga for more than twenty years. With over 10,000 hours of study and certification as a Registered Yoga School, Lindsey has dedicated her life to yoga education and teacher training. Zen + Tonic is the first yoga school to open in the heart of Downtown Medford, and Lindsey has made it her mission to raise the standard of what yoga looks and feels like in this community.

“Yoga should never feel intimidating or out of reach. At Zen + Tonic, the focus is on breath, movement, and community, each woven together to create an experience that feels both powerful and welcoming.”

Classes at Zen + Tonic are designed to be authentic, accessible, and deeply educational. The teachers who join Lindsey are chosen not just for their talent, but for their commitment to providing high-quality instruction rooted in both tradition and modern movement science. Whether you are brand new or a longtime practitioner, you will find classes that meet you where you are.

Zen + Tonic offers a variety of memberships, class packs, and intro specials, including a three-class pass for $30 and discounted rates for food and beverage workers and veterans. The first class is always free, so anyone can step in and experience what makes this studio different.

For Lindsey, opening in Downtown Medford is about more than running a studio. It is about building something lasting. “Yoga is about connection,” she says. “Connection to yourself, connection to your body, and connection to the people around you. My goal is to create a space where all of that comes together.”
