Mellelos Coffee Donates 15% of all proceeds to the Holly Theatre on Monday, October 7!
Mellelos Coffee Roasters and the Holly Theatre join forces to make sure the Holly opens in January 2025.
Mellelos Coffee will donate 15% percent of all proceeds from all Mellelos locations on Monday, October 7, 2024 to help the Holly open its doors and get the party started.
Zach Barrer, Mellelos owner since 2021, says, “As our first promotion of this kind with Mellelos Coffee, we are very proud to partner with the Holly Theatre. My wife, Kaitlin, and I want to see our stores take a lead in community causes and we support the Holly in every way. This is exciting for us as we have amazing coffee and products and we want the Holly Theatre to open and thrive. This is one way we can help and are excited to do it!”.
“We’re excited too,” Shelley Austin, Executive Director at the Holly Theatre agrees. “We get to partner with a popular local business with stores near the theater as well as throughout the Rogue Valley, and we have this great opportunity to gain some much needed income .
The big news is we have a matching challenge grant of $50,000, donated by Jeff and Judi Scranton, so every dollar you spend now doubles until we meet our match. We are telling folks to buy coffees for all your friends and co-workers on October 7 and buy a bunch of bags of Holly Street Organic online for Christmas gifts. Stock up now and help us out!”.
The historic Holly Theatre is nearly finished and it’s going to be beautiful, just like when it opened back in 1930. The theater has been meticulously restored to its original condition and is the largest indoor theater between Eugene and Redding. Once open, programming will include a wide variety of shows, famous and local bands, films, productions and more.
If you’d like to stay informed, please sign up for the Holly Theatre newsletter, or consider volunteering so you can be involved in the excitement, and please tell your friends!
