Congratulations to Rogue Comic Con for hosting a successful annual event on May 4. This event was successful enough to get the attention of the Downtown Medford Association (DMA) and make it the June recipient of the DMA Membership Recognition Award.
This event held at Pear Blossom Park attracted thousands throughout the day and included food truck sales. The feedback from several local retailers and a majority of vendors was they had record sales.
The mission of Rogue Comic Con is to encourage literacy and innovation through popular media, arts, literature, science and technology, fantasy and science fiction, game play and design. Rogue Comic Con is family-friendly, welcoming to and inclusive of all. Because of their commitment to continuing Rogue Comic Con as a free event, it is more welcoming in support of all of Southern Oregon communities.
