She’s one of Downtown Medford’s major supporters, promoting downtown on social media and being involved in downtown activities. That is why we have chosen Melissa Shreeve of Shreeve Insurance for our Featured Partner this month.
Melissa has been in the insurance business since 2004 and has been an agent since 2019. She opened her office in the Goldy Building in October 2021. Melissa said she chose downtown for her office location because “it is important to me to be up front and center – in the middle of what’s going on and to be working for beautification and safety of our city.”
Shreeve Insurance focuses mainly on Medicare health planning through Medicare supplements, Medicare advantage plans, prescription drug plans, and dental plans, helping people navigate through their insurance needs.
Shreeve Insurance recently won the Gold Medal for the Best of Southern Oregon Insurance Agency / Company and is nominated in the top three for three different categories in the RV Times Community Choice Awards Best of the Rogue Valley.
Shreeve Insurance has held Third Friday events in their office and also “Christmas in July,” benefitting Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army.
Shreeve Insurance has been a DMA Partner since opening their office downtown in 2021. Melissa serves on DMA’s Organization Committee and volunteers for Bikes n Brews.
Melissa considers DMA’s major accomplishments thus far to be beautification with flower baskets, Christmas lights, and clean sidewalks, and cooperation with the city on safety by sponsoring community meetings with Medford Police Department. She would like to see more DMA Partners and all the DMA committees filled with involved and active volunteers.
