Go to The Sparta Building on Main and Riverside. Punch in 3000 on one of the small doors next to Lumiere Salon. Head upstairs to Suite 206; open the door and be greeted by a gorgeous sunlit studio with windows looking out on Downtown Medford.
Lindsey Holy was teaching at another studio, saw the location posted, went to see it, and told herself, “That is where I have to be.” It took five weeks to get the studio ready for opening on Friday, March 21, with an opening party that evening.

Lindsey has been teaching yoga for 20 years. She studied all over the world and has taught all over the world. She holds many certifications, including the YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider) certification.

Lindsey is the founder/owner of Zen + Tonic. Other instructors are Kelly Rose, Ginny Dean, Tara Clark, and Erika Bakke Means.
Zen + Tonic has a beautiful website created by Lindsey. Check it out at www.zenandtonicyoga.com. The website has a schedule of classes and pricing. (They teach all types of yoga.)
To quote from their website, “At Zen + Tonic, our goal is simple: to support your physical and mental wellbeing through authentic, accessible practice. We offer a range of classes – from hot yoga and traditional yoga to restorative sound baths – all taught by experienced instructors in an environment that values genuine growth and honest instruction over empty posturing.”
The first class is free, and they offer discounts to members of the food and beverage service industry and to veterans. Lindsey has a special fondness for the food and beverage service industry because she worked in it in past years at places like Pie and Vine, Downtown Market, and Jacksonville Inn to augment her yoga teaching income.
Lindsey loves “being in the heart of Downtown Medford.” She ”likes helping people to tune into their bodies.” She wants to build a yoga community in Medford and says, “Yoga is uniting. I want to unite the community.”
