A Vibrant Downtown Means A Better Medford
The Downtown Medford Association (DMA) was formed by a group of concerned business and community members in 2018. Our purpose is to oversee the rejuvenation of Medford’s downtown core –the heart of the Rogue. DMA is a “we” and exists because it is a community-driven non-profit organization: we are friends, colleagues, and neighbors, working together as a collaborative and fueled by our invested volunteers, businesses, partner organizations, property owners, residents, and investors.

Organization
This committee serves to preserve the economic stability of DMA through fundraising efforts, community engagement, and by developing strong partnerships among stakeholders. Our efforts focus on building a strong community for a collaborative vision and sustainable revitalization effort.
Promotions
This committee serves to highlight and market downtown Medford’s unique characteristics, the business community, & downtown events to residents, visitors, investors, and business owners. Our committee helps shape a positive image of the Downtown through marketing and event activities to boost activity, increase traffic, and investment, and support our existing downtown businesses.
Design
This committee serves to create a cohesive sense of place and an inclusive downtown by improving the physical image and design of the downtown core while driving economic development via beautification efforts reflective of the historic character and community feel.
Economic Vitality
This committee serves to strengthen our community’s existing economic base, while also helping to expand and diversify it. By helping existing core businesses expand, and help recruit new businesses in our everchanging local market, our program helps direct activity related to commercial and real estate development, so we can increase successful businesses and improve the appeal of our downtown. ​
Downtown revitalization success is critical to our ability as a region to retain and grow existing businesses, and a talented workforce, and attract new business, industries, and investment.
